OJSH Junior High Basketball Season Finishes with Big Wins!
Congratulations to the junior high boys and girls basketball teams and their coaches on a great GCAA tournament in Whitecourt on Wednesday, February 26th.
Both junior basketball teams had stellar performances in the GCAA league this year. Because of their strong play through-out the season, both teams had byes into the semi-finals. And, both teams won those matches. Our girls were able to complete their success with another win in the final and achieved gold!.
The boys were close in their final game but despite a late game push they ended up a little short but nevertheless they had silver medals around their necks.
it was a great year in the league and our athletes made our school very proud.. Way to go Mustangs!
